Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level AP Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to build hands-on experience in accounts payable. To be successful in this role, you should be eager to learn, able to follow established processes for investigating and resolving invoice issues and committed to maintaining strict compliance with company and regulatory standards. An outstanding candidate should also have excellent people skills and a willingness to develop strong problem-solving abilities. AP Specialist Responsibilities: Reviewing and processing all invoices for payment Managing vendor records and verifying wire/ACH payment information Responding in a timely manner to all inquiries regarding payment status or general questions from vendors Assisting with internal control activities (reviews, approvals, reconciliations, etc.) Assisting during month end closings Other Duties as assigned Requirements Requirements High school diploma/GED Degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred No prior accounts payable experience required - internships, coursework, or related office/customer service experience are a plus Basic understanding of accounting principles (through coursework or prior exposure) Comfortable learning new software; familiarity with Excel or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Bill.com) is a plus but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented Benefits & Company Perks: 27 Paid Days Off in Your First Year (12 Paid Holidays and 15 PTO) Excellent Medical, Vision & Dental Voluntary Short- & Long-Term Disability Coverage Optional 401K Optional HSA Matching Program Team Building Activities Free Products Meaningful work for a company doing good in the world! #J-18808-Ljbffr Lakanto
