About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with strong functional testing experience and exposure to AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for validating software quality across multiple applications, ensuring business requirements are met, and verifying the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.The ideal candidate is a curious problem solver who can quickly understand complex business applications, identify risks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.Required Qualifications3-5 years of experience inFunctional Manual TestingExperience testing multiple applications or components within the same project environmentExperience validating AI-generated outputs, prompts, or AI-assisted workflowsStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, Agile practices, and QA best practicesExperience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenariosStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsExperience with backend or data-driven testingAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teamsNice to HaveExperience working with AI-driven products, agents, or copilotsExperience testing APIs and data integrationsFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking toolsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform functional, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end manual testing across multiple applications and componentsAnalyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design effective test scenariosCreate, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and supporting test documentationIdentify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the development lifecycleValidate AI-generated responses and evaluate output quality, consistency, accuracy, and edge casesPerform backend and data-driven testing, including data validation and troubleshootingCreate, modify, and maintain test data required for testing activitiesProactively identify gaps in requirements, acceptance criteria, and application behaviorCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and resolve issuesParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectivesContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing strategies, and best practicesCommunicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to stakeholders in a clear and timely mannerWhy QualityAI?QualityAI is an AI-first quality engineering company helping enterprises deploy and scale complex systems with greater confidence.
