RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

\n
• Develop complete and thorough understanding of the Contract Documents including drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports
\n
• Project engineering of civil projects with grading, excavation, shoring and concrete placement
\n
• Prepare project submittals including construction means and methods
\n
• Draft and process RFI's
\n
• Assist with Project schedule and update tasks with information from field team
\n
• Assist with material procurement and verification process
\n
• Manage field quality and control cost
\n
• Assist with equipment tracking and reporting on project
\n
• Procure small tools / light equipment
\n
• Assist with invoice reviewing and coding
\n
• Assist with building the work according to plans and specifications
\n
• Perform site visits to evaluate site conditions
\n
• Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
\n
• Prepare take-offs and assist with design calculations
\n
• Understand and assist with implementing required safety measurements
\n

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

\n
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
\n
• 1 – 2 years of construction field experience
\n
• Proactive and self motivated
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Capable of performing and overseeing survey / layout of work
\n
• Excellent problem solving solutions and critical thinking skills
\n
• Strong time management skills with ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
\n
• Desire to learn and succeed
\n
• Goal and schedule driven
\n
• Ability to adapt to changing environments
\n
• Proficient with Word, Excel, AutoCAD
\n
• Strong work ethic – willing to do what it takes to get the job done
\n
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team
\n
• Basic understanding of construction methods
\n
• Ability to travel to various job sites
\n
• Valid current Driver's License required
\n
