SCHOOL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR/BOARD SECRETARYShall be the chief financial officer of the district. Shall be familiar with all phases of the district's fiscal operation, school plant, and educational program. Shall be the Board's financial representative, shall make reports, and recommendations to the Board of Education, and shall have the right to speak on all matters before the Board. Shall conduct themselves in a manner prescribed by law, Board Policy, and Administrative Directive. Shall be their job to keep the Board, as well as the Superintendent, fully informed on changes in the law.-At least three (3) years successful experience as a Business Administrator/Board Secretary or Assistant Business Administrator/Assistant Board Secretary-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license for the State of NJ preferred-Qualified Purchasing Agent Certificate preferred-A valid New Jersey School Business Administrator certificate-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptableReports to: SuperintendentEvaluation criteria: The Business Administrator/Board Secretary shall be evaluated in accordance with Board of Education policy.Terms of employment/salary: 12 Month; anticipated salary range of $155,000 - $165,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. Medical, dental, Rx and vision benefits are offered. Employees will contribute an amount toward health benefit premiums in accordance with an established table.
