Senior Vice President, Credit, Risk & Analytics

A high-growth fintech lender is seeking a Senior Vice President, Credit, Risk & Analytics to lead one of the company's most important functions.

This role sits directly alongside the CEO and executive leadership team, with responsibility for shaping how the business evaluates risk, deploys capital, leverages data, and identifies growth opportunities across its portfolio.

The company has already built strong credit fundamentals, invested heavily in data infrastructure, and accumulated years of proprietary performance and transaction data. The next chapter is about turning those assets into a true competitive advantage.

You'll be responsible for evolving the company's credit operating system and driving how data informs decisions across the organization.

The business has reached a scale where the next phase of growth requires:

• More sophisticated underwriting
• Deeper portfolio intelligence
• Better use of machine learning and alternative data
• Stronger self-service analytics across the organization
• Faster translation of insights into business action

You'll work directly with the CEO and executive team to ensure risk, analytics, and decisioning capabilities continue to scale alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Own credit strategy across originations, renewals, portfolio management, and account monitoring
• Establish portfolio health frameworks and forward-looking risk indicators
• Drive pricing, approval, exposure, and policy decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve growth while maintaining disciplined risk performance

Data Science & Advanced Analytics

• Lead and develop Analytics and Data Science capabilities
• Guide the company's ML roadmap and decisioning strategy
• Partner with technical teams on model development, monitoring, governance, and deployment
• Evaluate new data sources and analytical approaches that improve underwriting and portfolio performance

Business Intelligence & Self-Service Analytics

• Advance Business Intelligence capabilities across the organization
• Build a culture of self-service analytics and data-driven decision making
• Ensure business leaders have access to timely, actionable insights
• Improve visibility into portfolio performance, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency

Executive Leadership

• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team
• Partner closely with Capital Markets, Finance, Product, Operations, and Sales leadership
• Present portfolio performance, risk outlook, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board
• Help shape the broader direction of the business as it continues to scale
