\nWe are currently seeking someone who resides in Bennington County, VT, or who can reliably commute for on‑site responsibilities.
\nJOB DESCRIPTION
\nAn individual in this position shall observe, consult with, and assist special and regular education staff as they adapt classroom instructional strategies to accommodate students with varying degrees of hearing loss. The TOD shall also provide direct instruction and serve as a liaison between the school and various community agencies and professionals that provide services to deaf and hard of hearing children and their families.
\nEDUCATION
\nEducational requirements - Master’s degree
\nProfessional requirements - Licensed in the state of Vermont within 90 days of hire as a teacher with specialized training in working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (Special Education, TOD endorsement or provisional endorsement).
\nEXPERIENCE
\nThree years’ experience preferred
